Our store on Catalina was
destroyed by fire in 1979 and we moved to Santa Maria, California where we built the
studio we work out of now. I helped introduce Aleene's glues to fabric stores while
working for Art Sales Co. as a sales rep.
I teach one or two classes weekly and
work as a free-lance designer for several companies, including design development for Riso
Print Gocco and Chartpak® Products. I've appeared regularly for Aleene's Creative
Living television show as a guest demonstrator and usually do two or more national trade
shows each year.
My work has been published in over 30
books and many of my designs have been published in national magazines such as Aleene's
Creative Living, Crafts 'n Things, Deco Art's "Let's Paint", Pack-O-Fun and
Country America.
Isn't
this lamp beautiful? It's made from an ostrich egg! I used Chartpak Rub On Art Transfers on this Ostrich Egg lampshade.
